Fundación EDP completed the evaluation process of the projects submitted to "EDP Solidaria 2018". Of the 89 proposed actions, the Foundation has selected 23, who will receive a total contribution of 600,000 euros.

Some of the projects include "CapAApacítate" by ES Retina Asturias, "Environmental Entrepreneurship" of Fundación Síndrome de Down Madrid or Herriz - Herri (town by town) of Cáritas Diocesana de Bilbao.

The selection was made by a jury, made up of people in charge of the different areas of the company and representatives of B2B clients. The projects will soon be executed under the supervision of EDP volunteer managers.

"EDP SOLIDARIA 2018" is an initiative promoted by Fundación EDP whose main objective is to contribute to improving the quality of life of people in the areas where EDP develops its activity, through support for sustainable projects aimed at alleviating social needs, promoting the improvement in the quality of life and the integration of the most vulnerable people and groups at risk of exclusion, as well as the promotion of employment and entrepreneurship.
