EDP celebrates its First Commercial Conference in Bilbao

More than 300 employees of the company met in Azurmendi, by chef Eneko Atxa, to share the projects of the current year under the slogan "the recipe for success".

More than 300 employees of EDP met in Bilbao to celebrate the first annual sessions of the company's commercial area. The conference, held on November 27 and 28 in the restaurant Azurmendi of Eneko Atxa, was held under the motto "the recipe for success" and allowed attendees to share the experiences of all areas, marking, in addition, the strategy to follow during the current year.


The EDP collaborators arrived from practically all the Autonomous Communities and were able to enjoy the EDP Escape House, currently on tour around the country. Also attending were the CEO of EDP España, Rui Teixeira, the administrator of EDP Comercial, Vera Pinto Pereira, and the general corporate and commercial director of EDP España, Javier Sáenz de Jubera.


The CEO of corporate and commercial EDP España, Javier Sáenz de Jubera, stressed that "this type of conference are very necessary to evaluate the work done and share the focus of the company's commercial strategy. It also allows us to discuss future projects for greater coordination and motivation of the entire commercial team, which more than ever faces new challenges and a transversal digital transformation. "


The theme of the First Commercial Conference of EDP España revolved around gastronomy and allowed the speakers to shed the different ingredients that lead to the success of the company. Following this thread, and in addition to participating in the conference, the attendees were able to get to know the city and attend a dinner at the Azkuna Zentroa thanks to a fun yincana through the historic center of Bilbao. The employees who completed it correctly received a "txapela" from EDP and were informed of the place of the dinner, until then secret. The evening featured a karaoke show. The program completed on Wednesday 28 with a traditional dance "haka" of Maori origin to strengthen ties between team members.
