For this 9th edition a limit of 2 500 race bibs is established

The Reception hall of Gijón’s town hall hosted the presentation of the EDP Half Marathon “Villa de Jovellanos”, that celebrates its 9th edition in 2019; and it does so with EDP’s energy and the energy from the former marathon world champion, Martín Fiz. The energy company sponsors the race for second consecutive year, and the native from Vitoria, the first athlete over 50 years to win the 6 most important marathons in the world, and ambassador of EDP, will be in the city during the race’s weekend.

The half marathon will go over a 21 097 meters-circuit, approved by the Royal Asturian Athletics Federation (REFA). The race is also part of the official race calendar of the Royal Spanish Federation, which means that all marks will have an official validity. The circuit is at a sea level, plain and with few turns, perfect to achieve personal records.

For this ninth edition, there is a limit of 2 500 race bibs until vacancies are full. You can sign up here until April 30.
