“Sincronizadas” shares its energy in the EDP Half Marathon of Seville 2019

The athlete Mamen Ledesma joined the ambassadors Cristina Mitre and Maria Pujol

38 women met on the Plaza de España of Seville on Saturday, January 26, to participate on the first official meeting of the platform “Sincronizadas” in the Andalusian capital. One of its goals was to prepare the EDP Half Marathon of Seville 2019, apart from sharing its passion for running.

 

 

The digital platform brings together women who want to go for a run together, at any time and anywhere. The users that register in sincronizadas.com will be able to create groups of runners in their training areas or to join the ones that interest them the most, depending on their needs in their everyday life.

 

 

The event, held in Seville, counted with the participation of the triathlete María Pujol as local ambassador; the winner of last’s edition Mamen Ledesma; and the ambassador of Sincronizadas, the journalist and runner Cristina Mitre. The athletes shared their experiences and advised and highlighted the importance of working on the race’s technic to achieve better results.

 

 

Regarding the competition, once again celebrated with EDP’s sponsorship, this edition has brought 9 500 runners together, that have enjoyed the 21 097 meters-circuit around the city center of Seville.

 

 

The Kenyan Ruth Waithera finished the run in 1:10:39, breaking the Lily Partridge’s last record by half a minute. In the male category, the Moroccan El Hassan Oubaddi, settled in Euskadi, - has been the winner with 1:03:14, improving his second place from the previous edition.
