The summit of industry and technology, CITECH, returns to Gijón from March 28 to 30. This meeting linked to innovation has been presented in the City Council of Gijón. EDP, sponsor of the event, will participate the three days and will present and expose all its offer in products and services of sustainable mobility.

In CITECH, more than 100 experts in industry, security, health, mobility, sustainability and education will be meeting. There will be presentations, work-shops, round tables, demonstrations and exposition areas, as well as meeting points for companies and startups.

There will also be a meeting of electric vehicles, as well as exhibitions of industrial drones and 3D printing, and spaces dedicated to the “maker movement”, that comprehends people who decide to recycle or reuse elements in order to regain propriety of technology. There will also be exhibitions of retro-informatic (everything related to computers and game consoles previous to the popularization of the PC), as well as a competition of created electric vehicles, designed and launched by kids, and an exposition and acceleration test of Tesla vehicles.

The event is organized aiming to highlight the importance of the Asturian Industry and the new philosophies and sectors of innovation, in order to promote an environment in which the productive sector of the Principality is prepared towards the future. In the 2018 edition, this peak received more than 2 500 visitors.
