The electricity distribution company from the Group EDP in Spain changes its trademark to E-REDES Electricity Distribution

This new brand responds to the obligation – Binding Decision – of the Spanish National Markets and Competition Commission (CNMC) for integrated energy groups to change their trademark image, so that consumers can clearly identify both their distributor and their marketer company.

The company has also adapted the communication channels used with the marketers, the domains and the pertinent websites, as well as its work tools, like vehicles and clothing. The company’s web becomes thus eredesdistibucion.es.

E-REDES adds up more than 20 700 kilometers of electricity grids and more than 666 000 supply points, distributed between Asturias, Madrid, Aragon, Catalonia and the Valencian Community.

The consumers of this grid have the best quality in electricity supply in Spain, as the TIEPI index (Time of Interruption Equivalent to the Installed Power) shows, which reached a value of 17 minutes in 2018.
