The EDP Foundation has collaborated with the 2019 Family Race of Bilbao. The race, which has celebrated its 8th edition this year, has covered some of the most emblematic spaces in the city by the estuary. The participants started at the Guggenheim Museum and walked to the Maritime Museum. From there, they returned to the starting point to complete a 1.8 km route that could be done several times until completing the maximum distance of 9 km.

The initiative, organized by El Correo journal and the City Council, was attended by more than 3,000 people and raised 4,120€ that will be given to the AFA Bizkaia Association, the association of relatives of patients with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias.
