Santander’s coastline holds the “4th Night Trail Looking for Smiles”

Tuesday 18, June 2019

It is one of the most spectacular races in the north of Spain, both for the beauty and the singularity of its route, and it is about to be celebrated in Santander, Cantabria. It is the “4th Night Trail Looking for Smiles”, that will be held on Saturday, June 29, with two modalities; one for the walkers, in which entire families may take part, and will begin at 19.00; and one for the runners, that will begin at 21.45. Both races cover 10 kilometers throughout the beautiful landscapes of the Cantabrian coastline.

This trail, that counts with EDP Foundation’s sponsorship, is a solidary race, and the benefits obtained will be entirely destined to the second stage of Humanization of Urgency areas in the pediatric University Hospital Marqués de Valdecilla.

The race is a perfect way for the whole family to enjoy sport and, in addition, it runs over varied terrain (beach, asphalt, grass), which will enable the participants to live different experiences on the way, with surprises, music, and above all, many smiles. It is mandatory for every participant to bring a flashlight, which should be on at all times, for security reasons.

Inscriptions are open until Sunday, June 23, through the website 'Trail Nocturno Buscando Sonrisas'. The option “zero line” is also available, for those who want to contribute economically without needing to take part on the race.
