Batteryplatis the new energy storage technology platform, of which EDP is part. Companies, universities and technology centers have come together to form a forum focused on collaboration and the promotion of technological development of energy storage technologies. Luis Santos, head of Innovation at EDP, is also president of Batteryplat.

The first General Assembly of Batteryplat took place on Monday, September 30. Throughout the morning, the different agents involved got in touch with the main lines of work of the platform in the short and medium term. In addition, experts analyzed the current situation of the sector and growth opportunities linked, among others, to sustainable mobility.

The closing of the day was entrusted toby Joan Groizard, new director of the Institute for Diversification and Energy Saving (IDAE). The appointment was held atthe auditorium of the State Agency of Innovation of the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities in Madrid.
