EDP joins Enercluster's Board of Directors
The company is progressing in the construction of two photovoltaic parks in the region.
The Renewable Energy Cluster of Navarra (Enercluster) has just started a new stage. And it does so with a renewed Board of Directors, whose primary objective is to strengthen the defense of the value chain of the renewable energy sector in Navarra. The association is made up of 88 companies.
EDP, which has been part of this association since 2022, now joins the Board of Directors to strengthen its presence in Navarra. The delegate of Business Development in Asturias, Navarra and the Basque Country, Javier Martínez Sutil, will join as EDP's representative on the Board of Directors of the entity.
Being part of Enercluster allows greater visibility in the region, since the association collaborates directly with the Administration of Navarra. In addition, it can contribute to the development of new business opportunities thanks to the knowledge it provides about the community and the energy sector ecosystem.
Navarra has been one of EDP's incumbent regions in Spain, as the company was the main generator in the community when it operated the two combined cycle plants in Castejón. It is now moving forward with the construction of two photovoltaic plants totaling 95 MW.
