Cruz Roja Bizkaia’s campaign, “Sus derechos en juego” (Their rights at stake), was a success. 2 429 minors in a vulnerable situation have received new toys the past Christmas. A total of 6 444 were collected, which overcomes the 6 000-toys-challenge established by the entity for this edition.

The toys have been handed out to children whose families are in a situation of social exclusion. The EDP Foundation has cooperated with this initiative from its offices in the Basque Country, with the help of volunteers from Cruz Roja Bizkaia, that collected toys and carried out the selection by age.
