REMIT regulation
Regulation (EU) 1227/2011, on the integrity and transparency of the wholesale energy market (REMIT), establishes the obligation of market participants to publish privileged information in an effective and timely manner (Article 4).
This disclosure shall include, for participants in the wholesale electricity market, information regarding the capacity and use of the facilities, including the planned and unplanned unavailability of such facilities (Article 4.1).
EDP Spain supports this type of initiatives, which promote transparency and integrity in the wholesale electricity market. Therefore, in accordance with the REMIT Regulation, the company discloses information regarding its generation units affected by this legislation.
List of generating units subject to inside information
The following list details the generating units belonging to Hidroeléctrica del Cantábrico, S.A.U. (now EDP España, S.A.U), which have an installed capacity of 100 MW or more, and which are subject to the publication of privileged information in REMIT.
