La Fundación EDP patrocina un nuevo ciclo de “Suena la Cúpula”

El centro cultural avilesino acogerá tres conciertos programados para el último trimestre de 2018

The interpreter and researcher of music in Generación del 27, Samuel Diz, the duo formed by the musicians Emilio Moreno and Aarón Zapico, and the string trio "Enol Ensemble" will meet at Centro Cultural Internacional Oscar Niemeyer in a new edition of concerts "Suena la Cúpula".


Fundación EDP onsors this musical cycle that brings classical and contemporary music closer to the public. Tickets, at a price of 5 euros, are on sale at the receptions of the Niemeyer Center and Laboral Ciudad de la Cultura in Gijón, or on the telephone 902 106 601 and on the website Liberbank – Entradas.


On Sunday, October 7 at 1:00 pm Samuel Diz proposes discovering the original music of Generación del 27's era through a literary concert with classical guitar scores by Manuel de Falla, Rosita García Ascot, Salvador Bacarisse or Roberto Gerhard.


On Sunday, November 11 at 1:00 pm, the duo formed by Emilio Moreno and Aarón Zapico will perform before the audience of "Suena la Cúpula" offering a selection of transcriptions for violin and piano by Luigi Boccherini, others by his contemporary musicians, and also some of its own.


Finally, on Sunday December 23 at 1:00 pm the Enol Ensemble trio will close the musical year performing the "Goldberg Variations", one of the most famous works in the history of music, composed by JS Bach and published in 1741. On this occasion, the adapted version for string trio by Dmitry Sikovetsky will be presented.
