Más de 8.000 inscritos ya se han apuntado para esta prueba que se celebrará el próximo 28 de enero

EDP Medio Maratón de Sevilla is on track to sell out the 9,000 bibs available in a few days, and that number already exceeded the 8,001 registered last year. Thus, the EDP Half Marathon of Seville 2018 will be the race with the greatest participation ever over this distance in Andalusia.

During the presentation that took place today in Ayuntamiento de Sevilla, the organization communicated some of the novelties for January 28, as the Mizuno technical shirt that is given to all registered runners, the medal awarded to all runners crossing the finish line, and a free children's race on Saturday, the Best Drive Kids Running, on the slopes of the La Cartuja stadium. The event was attended by David Guevara, Sports delegate of the City Council of Seville, the President of the San Pablo Athletics Sports Association, Julio Montes, and Bruno Fernández, responsible for EDP in Andalusia.

As for the logistics of the race, departure is set for January 28 at 9:00 am. The EDP Half Marathon of Seville 2018 will begin on Carlos III Avenue on the Isla de la Cartuja and will have its finishiing line in the athletics tracks of the La Cartuja stadium, crossing the historic center of the city. This race, already historic in the Sevillian athletic calendar, continues to evolve and improve in recent editions, and has attracted runners from all Spanish provinces. It has already become a benchmark at a national level, being one of the quickest and most desirable races of the official calendar. It is a competition that can boast a totally flat and central homologated route.
