Occupational Health and Safety Management

EDP Spain establishes a Prevention Management System in accordance with Law 31/1995 and its subsequent modification (Law 54/2003), as well as the different Regulations that develop it, following the criteria established in the ISO 45001 standard as a model.

The Prevention Management System, as an integrated Management System, also includes the Management of the Prevention of Serious Accident Risks in all EDP establishments or facilities to which the reference regulations on serious accidents are applicable.

When implementing the Occupational Risk Prevention Management System, the aim is to guarantee that during the development of the activity in EDP Spain, the legal requirements and the Prevention Policy approved in the Organization are and will be complied with.

For this to be verified, it is important that the Occupational Risk Prevention Management System takes into account a series of requirements described by an international standard that must be capable of being evaluated objectively, and that allows it to be implemented by the Organization.
