The Theater Arriaga of Bilbao has held the first night of the children’s opera “Caperucita Blanca” (Little White Riding Hood), a free version of the famous tale, where both the characters and the scenario adapt to a contemporary and modern situation. The play counted with the EDP Foundation sponsorship, that gave 400 free tickets, mainly to the NGO with which it collaborates: La Posada de los Abrazos, Aspanovas, Lagun Artean and Acción Familiar Euskadi.

This performance is the first night of the Spanish version of the opera Txanozuritxu, for five musicians and 8 singers. In this play, and adolescent Little White Riding Hood, trying to make friends, approaches Wolf, an enigmatic boy from her class. From that moment on, the young girl must decide what path to choose.

The characters of this educative program of EDP, Viva Nuestra Energía, Lolo Eolo and Vera Ribera, joined the show and the children in the Theater Arriaga.
