EDP Spain participates in the conference “Security brought to light: Challenges and Future”, organized by the law firm CastroAlonso in collaboration with Gijón Polytechnic School of Engineering (EPI), the following March 14, 2019, in Gijón.

The event aims to give an answer to the huge challenge that the digital transformation from organizations entail, as well as addressing the present and future of security in the use of information and communication technologies.

Cybersecurity is the milestone of those organizations that have to support each other in order to avoid attacks and the lost of information, giving their technic and human teams the needed abilities to battle efficiently the “digital risk”.

Manuel Marcos Rodríguez, director of the Logical Security department will be representing EDP Spain on the table “The impact of cybersecurity in the income statement. Indirect and reputation impact.”
