The city council of Oviedo has hosted today the presentation of the International Race Ovida, activity organized by the residential center OVIDA, the Triathlon Club Oviedo and the association “Déjame tus Piernas” (“Lend me your Legs”), in collaboration with the EDP Foundation.

The event was attended by the Sport’s councillor, Fernando Villacampa, that has presented the circuit; Roberto Martínez, from “Déjame tus Pienas”; Elsa Rodríguez, Ovida’s director; Marcos Fernández, manager of the Triathlon Club Oviedo; and Ángel Moraleda Piñera, representing EDP.

The race, that will be held on May 12 in Oviedo, aims to raise awareness about the cross-generational values, and promote that people with reduced mobility are able to enjoy from the popular sport, allocating the fundings entirely to the association “Déjame tus Piernas”.
