EDP sponsors more than 30 races in Spain as part of its support to a healthy lifestyle. Now, that presence will be extended to mobile devices thanks to the new app EDP Races, available for iOS and Android.

Thanks to this app, which will be the official one in each race, the users will be able to access exclusive contents of the races sponsored by EDP, and live the experience with a higher degree of intensity. The first ones to enjoy it will be the EDP Bilbao Night Marathon on October 19 and the EDP Woman Half Marathon on October 27.

The functionalities that this app includes are video repetition of each runner, tracking of runners, real-time results, all the updated information about the race, or sharing pictures. During the race, they will be able to visualize the live video of a spot, see the athletes that are going through a spot in real time and upload pictures of the participants at any moment.

It is also possible to post in social media directly from the app during the event, as well as to upload pictures to the race’s collaborative gallery. It will also be very easy to follow friends or favorite athletes, as the user receives a notification when they go through a new spot. Lastly, the app allows users to quickly consult any classification instantly: by categories, the first runners per stage and the last spot reached by the participants being followed.
