Worten and the energy company EDP have signed a collaboration agreement to commercialize photovoltaic installations in the company’s stores. This way, through the stores in the peninsula and the Canary Islands, as well as online, they will develop different actions to promote self-consumption and to bring people access to solar energy in a simple, personalized and economical way.

The agreement was signed by the commercial director of Worten Spain, Gonçalo Carvalho, and EDP Solar director, Gabriel Nebreda, in the store of the company located in Alcorcón (Madrid).

“This agreement enables us to sum a new innovative category. We are going to be able to offer our clients a product that adapts to their needs and the environment, making their access to solar energy easier in a comfortable and simple way, from any of our stores or from our website,” highlights Gonçalo Carvalho, commercial director of Worten Spain.

To EDP “it is a strategic alliance that allows us to bring solar energy, present and future of the energy sector, closer to individuals and businesses. Thanks to this important agreement we reinforce even more our leadership in Iberia as referent of the selling of self-consumption solutions, giving answer to the growing interest of consumers for products that generate direct savings in their electricity bills and boost at the same time the sustainability of our environment,” points Gabriel Nebreda.

“Turnkey” solution

The hiring of solar self-consumption products can already be done in all Worten stores and in its online channel, where its team of experts advise customers about the products and services of EDP that best suit their needs. The information about EDP’s different solutions can be found here.

In this acquisition, the energy company is in charge of all the needed management and administrative authorization and carries out the installment and launching of the installation. Moreover, customers have a full monitorization and management platform of the installation in real time, that enables them to know through their smartphone the production and self-consumption that they are making at any time, and optimize their efficiency.

Solar energy is one of the energy solutions with the biggest saving potential. A family residing in a single-family-house may save more than 600€ a year. Furthermore, it is sustainable and respects the environment, avoiding the emission of more than 1500kg of CO2 each year.

Smart Green of LG reward the first customers

In addition, until the month of December, clients may benefit from the campaign Smart Green of LG. Thanks to it, when acquiring any LG product in Worten, the client may obtain a discount bonus equivalent to the sum of his/her purchase, that he/she may exchange in the acquisition of a solar self-consumption solution of EDP with LG’s panels. Moreover, EDP will carry out an additional discount, equivalent to the sum of the LG product, and the client will be able to participate in the raffle of 10 purchase receipt, for a maximum amount of 200€.
