This marks a 9% rise compared to 2022, both in raw recharges as in the amount of recharged energy   Furthermore, the company has set up 350 recharge points

The increase in energy recharged in the first half of the year, compared to the same period in 2022, is 18.5%

Thanks to this agreement, more than 400 electric vehicle charging points will be installed in 40 locations of the sports retailing company, distributed all across the peninsula, alongside EDP

The company will have a space on 16, 17 and 18 September in the Plaza de Colón.

EDP, that will operate the points, is committed to installing chargers in all new-build points of sale that Ahorramas deploys in the future

The recharging points installed by the company add up more than 430 000 kWh of energy charged in 2021

EDP, together with Mastercard and Banco Sabadell, leads a project to boost the use of electric vehicles through the display of 1 000 recharging points equipped with contactless technology.

The Regional Minister for Industry stresses that the agreement contributes to the decarbonisation objectives and to boosting the value chain associated with sustainable and efficient mobility.

The managers of EDP and BMW have met in the International Trade Fair of Asturias to analyze the possible collaborations in terms of sustainable mobility.
