Staples is the first EDP client in Portugal to choose, simultaneously, electric energy solutions, solar energy communities and sustainable mobility. The project allows Staples to locally produce half the energy it needs daily and share benefits from the remaining energy with residents.

Ocean Winds (OW), the offshore wind joint venture created by EDP Renewables and ENGIE, marks the installation of the final wind turbine at the Moray West offshore wind farm on the way to fully commissioning the project. 

The Flatland Energy Storage project will enable the storage of 200 MW of energy to support Arizona’s grid. The project will create job opportunities in the local community.

EDP's commitment to innovation on a global scale has reached new heights in the last two years. Some of the projects promoted from this investment, including robotics and automation solutions, will be presented at this year's Web Summit where EDP is once again present.

Solar parks are located in four Brazilian states and have a combined capacity exceeding 44 MWp. Investment of around 35 million euros reinforces EDP's commitment to solar energy production in Latin America. 

BigBATT, a 150 MW battery project that will be located next to the Ribatejo power station in Portugal, was one of the European projects selected by the Innovation Fund.
