1. Data controller
The personal data provided will be processed as a data controller by EDP ESPAÑA, S.A.U., with registered office in Oviedo, Plaza del Fresno 2, 33007 and with NIF A33473752, (hereinafter, "EDP").
By reading this Privacy Policy, the user is informed of how EDP collects, processes and protects personal data provided for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
The user must carefully read this Privacy Policy, which has been written in a clear and simple manner, to facilitate understanding, and determine freely and voluntarily whether or not to provide their personal data to EDP.
2. Purpose and legal basis of the processing
EDP will process the personal data collected for the purpose of managing the user's request for a visit to its facilities. Once the form is submitted, EDP, directly or through the FUNDACIÓN EDP, will contact you to confirm availability to carry out the requested visit.
The legal basis for processing the provided data is consent.
Under no circumstances can personal data relating to third parties be included in the form, unless the applicant has obtained their prior consent in the terms required by article 7 of the GDPR, being solely responsible for any breach of this obligation and any other relating to personal data.
3. Categories and quality of the data
The personal data requested from users are those necessary for the purpose that is informed, so their refusal to provide them will prevent EDP from being able to attend to it.
In these cases, the user guarantees that the personal data provided are truthful and takes responsibility for communicating any modification thereof.
4. Disclosure of data
Your personal data may be disclosed to Public Authorities or Bodies in compliance with a legal obligation.
5. Retention period
The personal data provided by the user in the form will be blocked when they are no longer necessary for the management and realization of the visit, remaining at the exclusive disposal of Judges, Courts and competent Public Administrations, for the attention of possible responsibilities arising from the processing, during the limitation period thereof. Once the limitation period has expired, the personal data will be deleted.
6. Data subject rights
As the owner of personal data, you have the right to contact EDP at any time and free of charge, by sending a written request to the following address: Data Protection, Plaza del Fresno, No. 2, 33007 Oviedo (Spain). You can also exercise these rights by sending an email with your personal data to comunicacionesrgpd@edpenergia.es. In both cases, supporting documentation of your identity must be attached.
- Right of access: right to be informed whether the data subject's personal data is being processed and, if so, to receive information about the processing carried out.
- Right to rectification and erasure: right to request the erasure of personal data whenever the applicable legal requirements are met, and to request the rectification of inaccurate data concerning the data subject, among other reasons, when they are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected.
- Right to restriction of processing: in certain circumstances (for example, while the accuracy of the data is being verified in the event that you contest the accuracy of your data or when they are no longer necessary, but the data subject needs them for the formulation, exercise or defense of claims), you may request that the processing of your personal data be restricted.
