“Share your energy”, acknowledged in the Genio Awards

On the gala, held in Gijón, ten distinctions were handed to campaigns, agencies and brands

The platform that brings together runners with grave visual impairments and EDP guides, “Share your energy”, has received an award to the Innovation in Design of Service in the Genio Awards. Gijón has been the scenario of the Award gala, an initiative of CMVocento that recognizes campaigns, agencies and brands for their innovation and creativity in advertising.

Ten awards were handed in total, to BBVA, Diadiego, Pernod Ricard, Burger King, Aldi, Toyota, Ikea y Caser Seguros.

Share your energy” (compartetuenergia.com) was born on May 2017 with the goal of becoming a meeting point for runners with grave visual impairment and guide runners, in order to train and take part in races. Since its launching, almost 3 000 people have registered in the platform, where more than 100 pairs of runners have been formed.

EDP started up this platform with the help of ONCE and the Spanish Blind Sports Federation, as well as with the support of the World and Europe’s marathon winner, Martín Fiz. The creative agency of the initiative is “La Despensa Ingredientes Creativos.”
