EDP is working with Siero’s City Council in the Urban Electric Mobility Week, which is held from April 8 to 12, and during which people can drive different types of electric vehicles (utilities, passenger cars, sedans and vans).

For those interested in experimenting this type of driving, several tests have been organized in the four urban areas of the council:

• Monday, April 8: La Fresneda. Principal Avenue, cultural center area. From 11:00 to 14:00 and from 16:00 to 19:00.
• Tuesday, April 9: Pola de Siero. Ayuntamiento Square. From 11:00 to 14:00 and from 16:00 to 19:00.
• Wednesday, April 10: El Berrón. Oviedo Avenue, in front of Samoa Square. From 11:00 to 14:00 and from 16:00 to 19:00.
• Thursday, April 11: Lugones. Paz Park. From 11:00 to 14:00 and from 16:00 to 19:00.

Moreover, there will be an efficient driving competition with two vehicles that measure the consumption in kilowatts of a certain route. The one that makes the most efficient route will win the test and enjoy an electric vehicle for a weekend.

The closure of this initiative will take place on Friday, at 19:30, in the Auditorium, with the conference called “Electric Mobility: challenges and opportunities for Asturias” in charge of Adriano Mones, regional director of market development of the company Phoenix Contact E-Mobility and member of the Business Association for the Development and Promotion of the Electric Vehicle.
