The ecotourism center Tierra del Agua has installed the first two charging points for electric vehicles in the council of Caso. The two points are totally integrated in the picturesque setting of the Natural Park of Redes, as they are covered with wood panels decorated by the two winning girls of a drawing contest. These charging stations, installed by EDP, are available to customers of the hotel complex and of the restaurants, as well as to employees.

These two points, installed in Caleao, have a power of 3.6 kW and are an innovative service in the region. Moreover, they are added to other points installed by EDP in the area, like the ones of the council of Sobreescobio, that has two charging points in public spaces, located in Rioseco and Soto de Agues. Likewise, Pola de Laviana has a quick charger in the service station of Avia.

These installations work through EDP MoveOn, EDP’s platform for users of this type of mobility. EDP MoveOn is accessible via the mobile app (Android and iOS) or through the website www.edpmoveon.com. EDP has already more than 100 public charging points on Spain, 75 of which are installed in Asturias.
