The Annual Corresponsables 2019 arrives in Oviedo
The meeting has been sponsored by the EDP Foundation
Yolanda Fernández, EDP’s Director of Environment, Sustainability, Innovation and Quality, and Vanda Martins, EDP Foundation’s General Director, have participated in the Corresponsables seminar “Third anniversary of SDGs: Current situation and future challenges”. The meeting took place in the Historical Building of the University of Oviedo, and was attended by up to 60 representatives of private entities, different administrations and agents of the Third Sector.
The event in Oviedo, sponsored by the EDP Foundation, is part of the presentation tour of the Annual Corresponsables 2019. The energy company has committed to the 2030 agenda of Sustainable Development Goals. In her intervention, Vanda Martins has shared the strategic lines of the Foundation regarding the SDGs, in the educational, social, cultural and environmental areas.
EDP’s corporate culture, as an example for integrated sustainability, has been the guiding principle of Yolanda Fernández’s intervention, who has explained that “we have committed to 9 objectives”. “For us it is a comfortable territory for working because we have integrated the mission, vision and values of our company”, she has added.
