Burgos hosts the annual conferences of the area of Marketing and Sales to domestic clients and businesses of EDP

More than 150 employees of EDP have met in Burgos to celebrate the annual conferences of the area of Marking and Sales to domestic clients and customers of the company. The meetings have taken place in the Forum of Evolution on June 27 and 28

 

More than 150 employees of EDP have met in Burgos to celebrate the annual conferences of the area of Marking and Sales to domestic clients and customers of the company. The meetings have taken place in the Forum of Evolution on June 27 and 28.

The conferences have enabled the attendants to put together the experiences in the area of marketing and sales, and establish a strategy to follow during the rest of the year.

The meetings were attended by the CEO of EDP, Miguel Stilwell de Andrade, and EDP’s Cooperative and Commercial Director, Javier Sáenz de Jubera.

The director of the area of Marketing and Sales to domestic clients and businesses, Ricardo González Santander, highlighted that “these types of conferences are very much needed to make balance and validate the focus of the commercial strategy in a market that is in constant evolution, and in which we want to be leaders, not only in our areas of historic relevance, but also in the new areas of growth.

For her part, the director of Marketing, Yone Alsadoro Llamas, highlighted that “it is the third consecutive year, that clients have chosen us as the leader energy company in the customers’ satisfaction index. This acknowledgment encourages us to keep improving in our relationship with the customer”.

These conferences were also attended by other companies. It is to point out the participation of Antonio Arjonilla, director of Business-Experience of the Client and Quality of the Service of STIGA, who highlighted that “the flexibility in this model of relation and communication with EDP’s client is a safe bet in the current context of the market. Ricardo de la Torre, responsible for Innovation in Barbarres Next also took part in these meetings and stated that “EDP differentiates because of its engagement with innovation”.

The meetings also helped to understand the situation of the first institutional campaign of the company. Under the motto “Turn of your light and on your imagination”, EDP began in March this campaign that aims to reinforce the expansion of the company.

EDP’s campaign is carrying out a general media plan, being present on television, press, radio and external supports, as well as a complete online plan. Moreover, it has the web www.imaginatuenergia.es

It also helped to make a balance of the action “Share your energy”, the first online platform that brings blind runners closer to guides. The people register on the web, indicate their profile and training areas, time availability and whether they are regular runners or they have just begun to run. Depending on their profiles, they may find runners that fit better to run, train or take part in races.

Since its launching in the end of May, the web has received more than 6 000 visits, and almost 600 people have registered in Spain.

Apart from participating on the conferences, attendants could get to know the city and have dinner in the Palace of los Blasones.
