Tuesday 04, April 2023

EDP’s program, which goal is to launch and consolidate the projects of local entrepreneurship, has selected sixteen candidates that it will be supporting and financing this year.

This new edition will specially promote the projects led by women or the ones that have an elevated potential of employability for them.

ENTAMA, EDP’s project that aims to generate richness, employment and the fixation of population, has selected the projects that it will be supporting and financing in its fourth edition.

This new edition has two great novelties: the extension of the areas in which the projects are to be implemented to the surroundings of generation facilities in Andalusia and the group's distribution areas, as well as the support to the projects led by women or with an elevated potential of employability for them.

This program supports projects with a high potential in the territories in which it is present, in fields like enhancement of the own resources, local and handmade products, promotion of sustainable tourism, digitalization and innovation, new services in areas with depopulation risk and other projects that promote the local employability, more sustainable chain suppliers and support to the feminine entrepreneurship and social inclusion.

In its previous editions, the program ENTAMA has achieved to promote 25 projects.  There are a total of 16 projects in this edition, carried out in Asturias, Andalusia and Cantabria, to which EDP will allocate a total of 185,000 euros.

The measuring of the ENTAMA’s invest impact, calculated by the SROI, states that each euro invested in the municipalities in which the program is developed, generates 4 euros.

This program develops according to the ESG criteria (environmental, social and good government), that regulate EDP’s business plan for the 2023-2026 period.
