The EDP Foundation supports the exhibition “Living with bears”
The exhibition, which is free, may be visited in Gijón during the following month
The collegiate church San Juan Bautista of Gijón will host, until August 4, the exhibition “Living with bears”, organized by the Bear Foundation, and in which the EDP Foundation takes place. The exhibition responds to the commitment to raising awareness of the importance of preserving biodiversity and promoting the conservation of autochthonous species, specially of the Cantabrian brown bear. In this sense, the Bear Foundation points out that relevant progress has been made in the last years.
The tour is developed around several panels that collect data and general information about the brown bear, as well as its evolution throughout the years. It also includes information about the foundation and the future challenges that it faces. The exhibition is completed with an audiovisual area and an interactive trivial.
“Living with bears”, already visited by 60 000 people in different points of Asturias, may be visited in the Collegiate Church San Juan Bautista of Gijón until August 4, from 11.00 to 14.00 and from 16.00 to 21.00. Mondays, the exhibition remains closed.
