EDP has been recognised as one of the main entities that have collaborated in the development of the Summer Courses of the Menendez Pelayo International University. During the closing ceremony, the Rector of the UIMP, Carlos Andradas, presented the 90th anniversary commemorative medals awarded to EDP and other entities such as the Santander City Council, the Government of Cantabria, the Tatiana Pérez de Guzmán el Bueno Foundation, the Santander Bank and the CSIC.

Yolanda Fernández, Director of Environment, Sustainability, Innovation and Climate Change at EDP in Spain, who was in charge of leading the UIMP seminar, "Responses to Global Challenges. Beyond Climate Neutrality" last July, collected the Commemorative Medal on behalf of the Company.

Under the slogan '90 years anticipating the future', this edition of the UIMP Summer Courses brought together more than 4,500 students and almost 2,000 speakers in 154 seminars. In addition, fifty cultural activities and a dozen institutional events were held.
