EDP will participate in Bind 4.0, the Basque accelerator of technological startups
The energy company will be part of the group of 53 reference companies in this fourth edition
EDP will be present in Bind 4.0 to offer its support to startups from all across the world. The Basque public-private accelerator for smart industry projects consolidates its position as the benchmark open innovation platform in the field of Industry 4.0.
This fourth edition’s new features are the incorporation of projects related to the food sector and the creation of the Venture Club, an investors' club to reinforce the services of the accelerator and consolidate the development of new companies. This way, the 'Foodtech' sector joins the areas already included in the three previous editions of Bind 4.0: advanced manufacturing, energy and health.
The initiative, aimed at attracting talent, was presented in the Euskalduna Palace in Bilbao on Friday 5th July, at a Demo Day in which more than 300 companies, startups, investors and representatives from the Basque Government have participated.
Bind 4.0 started in 2016 as a meeting point among innovative startups -from the Basque Country as well as international- and large companies present in the territory. It is an opportunity for promoting digital transformation and, at the same time, accelerate the settlement of innovative initiatives through real projects with reference customers.
