Paradores renews its electricity supply contract with EDP

EDP will be the supplier of electric energy for Paradores de Turismo de España in 2016. The contract entails the supply to all the grid of Paradores (98 facilities) with a total annual consumption of 62 GWh and an estimated cost of more than 6 million euros.

Moreover, the agreement will enable the workers to benefit from the special conditions for the contracting of electricity supply. Paradores and EDP have been keeping this collaboration for more than a decade, which reflects the high rate of loyalty of EDP’s clients, that is around 90 %.

This operation frames within the commercial strategy of EDP in clients attracting. The company is a referent and a true alternative for the large electric energy consumers in Spain.
