EDP is a new CEO in Spain: the Executive Board of EDP ted Rui Teixeira, member of the Executive Board of Directors and the person in charge of the generation area of ??the EDP p. Teixeira follows Miguel Stilwell de Andrade, who is now theCFO of the Group.

Rui Manuel Rodrigues Lopes Teixeira was born on October 11, 1972. He has a degree in Naval Engineering from the Higher Technical Institute of Lisbon and an MBA from the New University of Lisbon. He also holds a degree in Advanced Management Program from the Harvard Business School.

In April 2015, he entered the Executive Board of Directors of EDP. Since then, he has also been the head of the generation area of ??the EDP p.

From 1996 to 1997 he was assistant director of the naval commercial department of the Gellweiler Society of Maritime and Industrial Equipment. Between 1997 and 2001 he worked as a project manager and supervisor for Det Norske Veritas, with responsibilities in the areas of offshore structures, shipbuilding and ship repair. Between 2001 and 2004 he was a consultant at McKinsey & Company, concentrating on the areas of energy, transportation and banking for individuals.

Between 2004 and 2007 he led the direction of Planning and Corporate Control of the EDP p. In 2007 he also served as financial director at EDP eables Europe. From 2008 to 2015 he was a member of the Board of Directors of EDP wables, member of the Executive Committee and financial director. Now, he assumes responsibility for the EDP ness in Spain.
