The 6th edition of Free Electrons seeks startups from around the world with solutions for the energy transition and offers them the chance to work closely with some of the largest companies in the electricity sector. Startups can apply online until 18 April.

The company is doubling the amount it is investing in innovative startups until 2025. EDP wants to invest in growth-stage startups and is looking for opportunities globally.

Soon Energy has more than 25 MWp of solar power installed for business and residential customers in various regions of Poland. Synergies between the companies will allow EDP's current presence in the Polish market to grow fivefold.

The facilities will avoid the emission of 275 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere each year

Self-consumption of energy will avoid the annual emission of 650 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere.
