On Saturday June 2 the third round of the Asturias Cup of mountain races EDP and Prix will be held in the Asturian council of Cabrales, theTraveserina Picos de Europa. It reaches its sixth edition with 450 participants, 53 of them women. The Traveserina will be the protagonist next Saturday in the Picos de Europa, which will be prepared to host, one week later, its older "sister race", the Travesera, where participants are expected from all the autonomous communities.

The runners of the Traveserina, a race organized by Grupo de Montaña de Ensidesa y la Territorial, will start in Sotres, covering a distance of 44 kilometers, on a path that will take them to Arenas de Cabrales, where the finishing line will be located. They will have to overcome a slope of more than 3 kilometers.
