The organizers of EDP DesafiOSOmiedo made the draw for race bibs for its sixth edition, which will take place on July 28. Of the 1,800 people who pre-registered in the race the previous days, there will be 600 participating between the two distances, 300 in the Ultra Trail (83 kilometers) and another 300 in the Marathon (43 kilometers). The draw was made at the EDP headquarters in Oviedo.

The mayor of Somiedo, Belarmino Fernández, was present at the draw; the director of the race, Juan Fuego; and the director of Fundación EDP, Nicanor Fernández. They highlighted the importance of this race, which is increasing the number of pre-registrations every year and is an attraction to Somiedo, in addition to the runners themselves, to numerous running fans.

The list of winners will be published this Thursday on the website www.desafiosomiedo.com. Once published, the winners may formalize their registration on the same website.

The draw, broadcast live, was made with a computer program that crosses all the pre-registrations, by distance, and offers the results. In the Ultra Trail distance, 600 people were pre-registered and 1,200 in the Marathon. Among those pre-registered there are people of 15 nationalities and of all Spanish provinces, 25% Asturian.
