EDP acknowledges its involvement with Prevention and the Environment

25 employees of EDP d Electricidad Llames were recognized in the annual prizes of Prevention and Environment organized by EDP.


25 employees of EDP the company Electricidad Llames were recognized in the annual prizes of Prevention and Environment organized by EDP. The distinctions were delivered by the CEO of EDP ña, Miguel Stilwell d'Andrade.

Both areas of the company hold an annual meeting in which they recognize, individually and collectively, the dedication and effort of both employees and collaborating companies in the fields of prevention and the environment.

The Occupational Risk Prevention awards have recognized, individually, the commitment of Jaime Fresno, Pablo Boto and José Manuel Vicente.

The collective prizes were bestowed to the departments of General Services of Carboneo in the thermal power stations of Aboño and Soto de Ribera (Jaime Noval Villa, Jesus Castrillón Diaz, Jorge Lopez Rivero, Javier López Menéndez, Jorge Alfredo Nieto Rodríguez and Javier Fernández Cimadevilla ), and in Substations (Iván Álvarez González, Argentino Ruiz Menendez, Francisco Javier Álvarez-Barredo Suárez, José Manuel Fernández Suárez, Leoncio Serrano Hevia, Francisco Gabriel Sánchez Martínez, Pablo Garrido González, Juan Antonio Sanchez Gutiérrez, Eladio Martínez González, Ramón Iglesias Postigo, José Manuel Sánchez Soto, Leonardo Cabeza Álvarez, Eusebio Rodríguez Blanco, Rubén Dindurra Dindurra, Miguel Ángel Rodríguez Díaz and Santiago García Álvarez).

In addition, Electricity Llames received a special mention as a collaborating company, for the efforts in the area of ??Occupational Risk Prevention. The manager of the company, Eva González, picked up the distinction.

As for the environment awards, the company recognized, individually, the work of David Morán. The collective prize was awarded to the General Services department of Carboneo of the thermal power plants (Jorge Alfredo Nieto Rodríguez, Jesús Castrillón Díaz and Jaime Noval Villa).

With this initiative, in addition to recognizing the involvement and commitment to prevention and the environment, EDP is to draw attention to the importance of both areas in the daily work of its employees and collaborating companies.
