Gijón will leave 2017 running. The 48th EDP isilvestre Gijón was presented today in the consistory of Gijón with an important novelty, the support of EDP he main sponsor of the event, which is organized by the Gijón Athletics Sports Association and the Municipal Sports Board.

The organizers have already opened the inscriptions in different portals (deporte.gijon.es, gijonatletismo.com and championchipnorte.com) and expect to gather 4,800 people.

The race on December 31 will start at 5:00 pm and runners will enjoy a 6-kilometer course, between Avenida de El Molinón and Antigua Pescadería.

There will also be races for children and disabled people, with several distances depending on the categories: disabled and minis, sub 10, sub 12, and sub 14. These will take place from 4:00 pm.

This is the second race supported by EDP he municipality of Gijón, after the I EDP urnal Race of 10 kilometers, which further reinforces the commitment of the energy company with the municipality and with activities that promote healthy living habits.
