The EDP Foundation, together with the association “Déjame tus piernas”
The Intergenerational Race Ovida, in favor of the association that works so that people with disabilities may participate in these races, will be held on May 12 in Oviedo
The goal of the first Intergenerational Race Ovida is to raise awareness about the intergenerational relations and in any dependency situation. This race, organized by the Intergenerational Center Ovida, will be held in Oviedo on May 12, and counts with the support of the EDP Foundation.
It is an activity open to everyone, and a meeting point, for people of all generations in a single event: youngsters, adults and elderlies, both in a dependency situation, or independent.
On the other hand, the activity aims to highlight the importance of the fact that any person can carry out the sport activity that he/she chooses (in this case, a popular race), both alone or with guides and technical support.
The Intergenerational Race Ovida is solidary, and all the funds raised will be allocated to the non-profit association “Déjame tus piernas” (“Lend me your legs”), that aims, with its inclusion policy, for people with reduced mobility to enjoy the popular sport.
