"EDP Bilbao Night Marathon", the night race that will fill the streets of Bilbao on Saturday October 20 with the passion for running, will be energized during the previous hours by "Expokirolak", open to the public in the Euskalduna Palace. The site, located in the Exhibition Hall III of the palace, will have various leisure and sports activities, and will be aimed at promoting values such as solidarity, camaraderie and the desire to excel.

Activities of "Expokirolak" will be available all Friday, October 19, uninterrupted, from 12:00 pm to 8:30 pm, and Saturday 20, day of the race, between 10:00 am and 7:00 pm. Access is free for all people at the Euskalduna Palace.

Among the activities that EDP offers is the "Challenge before the race", in which a couple must compete with each other to reach the goal beforehand through a fun videogame. "Share your effort" will test the capacity of shared effort of two people, each one on a connected static bicycle, pedalling with enough energy to raise an object.

In addition, people who come to the site can play a game of "snookball", an original game that combines the rules and equipment of football and billiards. The playing field is a huge oversized pool table and it consists of throwing a white ball so that, while bouncing, the balls of colors are put into the holes of the table.

The site also hosts a space for the dissemination of initiatives "Comparte Tu Energía (Share your energy)", which promotes the participation of blind athletes in races and training thanks to runners willing to guide them; and "Runner Icon", aimed at getting Internet search engines to incorporate the "running" option when searching for a route, and which has already collected more than 7,500 signatures.

Finally, people will also have the opportunity to share their wishes in a more visual way. "Share your podium" will give everyone the opportunity to choose an avatar and get on a podium installed in "Expokirolak", taking a picture with him. And, on the other hand, there will be a space for visitors to the site to leave written messages of support for the sport and athletes.

People who participate in the snookball activities and in "Share your effort" will receive a gift related to the world of running, while the participants in the race will receive a "tattoo" to record times.
