The Severo Ochoa Hall of the University of Oviedo will host on Thursday, September 26 the presentation of the 14th edition of the Annual Corresponsables 2019, with a conference entitled ‘Current situation and future challenges of the 2030 Agenda’. EDP’s Director of Environment, Sustainability, Innovation and Quality, Yolanda Fernández Montes, and EDP Foundation’s General Director, Vanda Martins, will participate in the panel ‘Large companies and the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals)’ in a session that will gather several organizations and experts.

Corresponsables is a non-profit organization that aims to promote and disseminate social responsibility to organizations and society in general, with special attention to those groups that have few resources to communicate their responsible actions. The conference held in Asturias will analyze the role played by all organizations (private, public and non-profit) in reaching out to the public, overcoming current barriers and obstacles, and defining the next steps to be taken.

The Corresponsables team is integrated by more than 20 journalists and experts in communication, design and sustainability from 8 countries. In 2005, it started its activity in Spain; in 2012, it reached Mexico; and in 2014, it started to work in Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, Peru and Uruguay.
