The Council of Gijón has held the presentation of the 1^st edition of EDP Night Race in Gijón. The 10-kilometer race will take place on September 23 and will bring together 1 500 runners.

The presentation was attended by the Sport’s Councilor of the Council of Gijón, Jesús Martínez; the General Manager of El Comercio-La Voz de Avilés, Goyo Ezama; and EDP’s Brand Manager, Susana Cima.

Runners will start on the sport complex Las Mestas and will run around the city until the finish line, in the Main Square, where a great party will be awaiting them.

EDP’s support reinforces its commitment with people, sport and the city of Gijón, where it already supports other sport initiatives, like the race Dona Vida.

EDP is the sponsor of the most popular and renowned races of the calendar, being EDP Night Marathon among them, a night race that ensures a very attractive race for runners, families and amateurs.
