The Municipal Institute of Sports of Cordoba and EDP have reached an agreement for the sponsor of the most renowned race of the city: EDP Half Marathon of Cordoba. The race, that celebrates on November 26 its 33^rd edition, will be the meeting point for 8,300 runners.

After the signing of this agreement, the energy company joins the name of the race and will be its official energy for two years. This implies an important impulse for the projection of the race, that goes all around the city, ending in the historic center, declared Heritage Site by the UNESCO in 1994, and which final stretch goes over the Roman Bridge, ending in the Gate of the Bridge.

The company will also be present in the Runner Fair, that will take place on the weekend of the race. EDP will make available a space with different areas, activities for the whole family, presents and promotions for runners. Furthermore, it will give a gift to all participants, found in the runner bag.

EDP is one of the reference sponsors in the running calendar. More than 165,000 people participate in the more than 30 races that it supports every year. Within its commitment with sport, EDP shares its energy with runners, giving out free race bibs to participate in different races. The support to this important race reinforces the commitment of EDP in Cordoba, a priority market.
