On the occasion of World’s Health Day, the main marathons of Spain have joined forces to send a clear message: running long-distance races is healthy. The main races of 42 K and the Spanish Federation of Athletics have teamed up for the runner’s health this April 7, in an event in the City of Arts and Sciences of Valencia.

The goal of this meeting has been to send a join message to the increasingly numerous population of runners, ensuring that running long-distance races is not harmful, as long as it is done with the needed previous preparation.

This event was attended by the organizers of some of the races supported by EDP: EDP Rock’n’roll Madrid Marathon, Marathon Valencia Trinidad Alfonso EDP, EDP Ferin Marathon and EDP Vitoria-Gasteiz Marathon Martin Fiz.

Participants in this meeting have broken down their measures and actions to work in the runners’ security, making it clear that running improves health, and running long distance races, with the appropriate preparation, is also healthy.
