The running party that will take place this Sunday in Vitoria by hand of the "EDP Vitoria-Gasteiz Marathon Martin Fiz" has started today Friday at the Boulevard shopping center, where EDP installed an area. The site will be open today Friday and tomorrow Saturday, with free access, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Among the activities that can be carried out in the EDP ispace is the initiative "Share your effort", which consists of two people, raised on two connected static bicycles, able to lift an object thanks to their shared effort. Also, there is the possibility of participating in a "pre-race challenge", in which a couple must compete with each other to reach the goal beforehand in a fun videogame.

In addition, people who come to the site can discover what would happen if the rules of two sports were mixed. This is the case of "snookball", which combines the rules and equipment of football and billiards, and which takes place on a field similar to an oversized pool table.

The site also hosts a space for the dissemination of initiatives "Share your energy", which promotes the participation of blind athletes in popular races thanks to runners willing to guide them; and "Runner Icon", aimed at getting Internet search engines to incorporate the option to run when searching for a route, and which has already collected more than 7,200 signatures.

People who participate in snookball activities and "Share your effort" will receive a gift related to the world of running.
