Eleven blind people and eleven people who have volunteered to guide them will run the EDP 'N' Roll Madrid Marathon & ½ on Sunday 22nd April. The platform that enabled these blind or severely visually impaired people to come together to train and that now faces this new challenge is "Comparte Tu Energía (Share Your Energy)", a social and sporting initiative that EDP launched with collaboration of ONCE and the Spanish Sports Federation for the Blind. It is a meeting point for blind people who want to run with other amateur or professional runners who can guide them.

In addition, this Saturday 21 at the runner's fair, located in pavilion 12 of IFEMA, a round table will take place at 16:00 hours, where "Share your Energy" runners, representatives of EDP ONCE, will analyze the nearly approching first year of the initiative and the advantages and benefits of it.

Runner Icon, the initiative for search engine maps to include the option to run, will also collect signatures at the fair.

EDP ll also have a space in which the participants can carry out an evaluation of running techniques. For this, they will run on a treadmill while they are recorded by two television cameras. With the help of a specialized trainer, your race will be displayed on a screen and guidelines will be provided to improve your running technique. There will also be a pre-race challenge on Sunday, in which two video game machines allow two runners to compete to reach the finish line first.
