EDP takes part in ExpoContact’17: efficiency and productivity in the new digital fields

The first day, EDP has been present in the round table “the era of the digital customer”, together with Ignacio Javier Vázquez, director of the Commercial Cycle B2C and Customer Attention of EDP Spain. In this meeting, Vázquez highlighted that the clients want “resolution ability and natural language” in the attention channels.

Thereafter, the director of Marketing and Sales B2C of EDP Spain, Ricardo González-Santander, intervened in the session named “Innovation as motor of excellence and efficiency” in order to debate about the digital transformation of companies, about which he pointed out that “80 % of the resources have to be dedicated to the 20 % of future business”.

EDP has the most loyal customers of the energy sector in Spain, as well as the most satisfied ones. This is proved by the fact that it is the leader in clients’ experience (ISCX 2016) in the electricity supply industry, and that it has the best customer attention center (Prize CRC).
