EDP will participate in the 9th Transfer Innovación in Asturias, on February 6

The topic of the meeting promoted by CISC Asturias and the Spanish Chamber of Commerce will be “Circular Economy, Innovation and Sustainability”

The office of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce of Oviedo will gather the following February 6 the ninth session of the seminars organized monthly by the delegation in Asturias of the Spanish National Research Council (Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas), CSIC.

These sessions call scientists experts in each of the issues that are addressed, entrepreneurs interested in the technology transfers, and those in charge of the administration or civil society involved. For these events they also count on companies leading the different sectors, and experts from other countries.

Yolanda Fernández, director of the Environment, Sustainability, Innovation and Quality of EDP Spain, will be part of the guest panel of February. Under the headline “Transfer Economía Circular. Innovación y Sostenibilidad” (“Transfer Circular Economy. Innovation and Sustainability”), her intervention will aim to disclose the progress of the energy company regarding circular economy strategy. The conference will be joint by researchers and representative from various public and private organizations. The full program is available here. The goal of these meetings is to establish synergy work that may result in a better cooperation between research and technologic and productive development in the Principality of Asturias, expanding new horizons, both entrepreneurial and scientific. Each transfer will generate a non-presential work group, in which they will address different topics and improvements to elaborate a final document that will be available in the web, like the intervention and tracking guide about technology transfer.
