More than 90 students of the Polytechnic School of Engineering of Gijón attend these days at the I EDP Seminar on the Electric Sector. The gathering, which takes place in the Board Room of the School, brings together university students with professionals from the energy company.

The Seminar, taking place on March 19, 20, 26 and 27, delves into transversal aspects of the sector, as well as the different activities, such as generation, distribution and commercialization of energy.

This initiative is part of EDP's close relationship with the University of Oviedo, an institution with which it has collaborated for more than 30 years. Among the most outstanding initiatives is the Internship Program of Fundación EDP, endowed with one million euros, by which each year more than 175 university students join EDP to complete their academic training. It is the most outstanding scholarship program of the University.
